Greetings

Welcome. Have a virtual seat. These pages are designed to act as launch pads for exploring the Net, based on different areas of interest. Some have more links than others, generally in line with my interest in that area. Following the general expansion of these pages, they retain my basic aim of being quickly downloadable and browser independent, but the introduction of the new sub-pages means that links for a particular topic area are now two clicks away, rather than one. The basic concept of navigability within the pages as a whole is not particularly negated by this, and it is a necessary step to ensure future flexibility. To reduce the time needed for maintenance all the pages, apart from the index page, now have a common footer cated onto them. This avoids the need to alter every individual page by hand every time a new main module is added. In the future I hope to add a directory page providing fast links to all the available sub-pages on one page.

Each section starts with a commentary by myself, followed by the links to relevant sub-pages and then the localised links for quick navigation. Note that at the bottom of each page is a mailing option, as well as a link back here, to the index, to my University's homepage and to the DON'T PANIC! page.

I've gone to some trouble to design these pages as they now appear, and I would appreciate any feedback you, the reader, would like to make; please use the Mail me option here or at the bottom of any of the pages, or the form on the Visitor's Page I hope you'll find what I have to say vaguely interesting, and the links of some use to you.
