Well, at the time of writing the Star Fleet section of my site had just about reached the 10,000 visitors mark - in 9 months. With this level of traffic I've decided to take what is an unusual step for me: to actually try and make some cash from this hobby of mine.

BlackStar are an on-line video store which I've just started to use, having heard good things about their quality of service. They answer queries rapidly, they deliver when they say they do and they cater to the cult TV side of things quite nicely. The way this affiliation thing works is straightforward. If you use one of my links to go to BlackStar, then actually buy something from them, I get a small percentage of the value of your purchase. I get diddly squat for the "click through" itself.

I actually linked to BlackStar before joining this scheme - their site is a very useful reference tool if you're after a video or DVD and it also has Zones (some of which I link to) which have general info about various series which I don't cover. So if you're wondering why you suddenly appear at BlackStar's site when you follow one of my links, that's why.
